Hearing Protection and Conservation

We're only provided one set of ears...
... and we need to take care of them.

Although noise-induced hearing loss is one of the most common occupational illnesses, it is also associated with sports and music.

Hearing loss is often ignored because there are no visible effects. It usually develops over a long period of time, and, except in very rare cases, there is no pain.

What does occur is a progressive loss of communication, socialization, and responsiveness to the environment.

Many individuals engage in sports and leisure activities with elevated noise levels. While a single loud noise may have little impact on your hearing, continuous exposure to higher-than-normal noises are almost guaranteed to have a negative impact on your hearing.

Even musicians - exposed to high decibels
created by instruments and sound systems, experience long-term hearing loss. This situation is problematic from both a career and enjoyment perspective.

Custom Shooter's and Musician's Earmolds are available from Advanced Hearing.   We're here to assist you in evaluating your activities and provide the appropriate product to meet your long-term needs.
